Kennedy Mweene
Kennedy Mweene (born December 11, 1984) is a Zambian footballer who plays for South African Premier Soccer League club Mamelodi Sundowns as a goalkeeper. He has been on many occasions captain of his country. On 17th January2015, Kennedy Mweene will be participating in his sixth Edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, which is the 30th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted by Equatorial Guinea from 17 January to 8 February 2015. The International football championship of Africa organized by the Confederation of African Football CAF.
==Club career==
Renowned for his penalty-saving and penalty-taking skills, Mweene is arguably one of the best goalkeepers in the world at the moment, winning the PSL Goalkeeper of the Season award (best player in the South African top division) in the 2008-09 season. The player has been in big demand with all of the big spending clubs in South Africa but remained loyal to Free State Stars until the end of the 2012-13 season. On 27 June 2013, he agreed to a three-year deal with Mamelodi Sundowns. The player is represented by his business manager Ryan Hartslief of Bigtime Sports management in South Africa. Football experts wonder why no European club has asked for his services, despite being one of the best shot-stoppers the beautiful game has ever seen.
